eleMusic Labs is the research arm of eleMusic. We are developing an original music generation model, trained from the ground up on music we have the right to use.
What we care about
- Clean data, by designEvery training file is licensed, in the public domain, permissively licensed with checked terms, made by us, or commissioned, and each one is recorded with its source.
- Original, not imitationNo artist names, no song titles, no cloned voices. The goal is new music, not copies of someone else's.
- Measured, then trustedWe test in small steps and let careful listening decide what moves forward.

- What is eleMusic Labs?
- eleMusic Labs is the research arm of eleMusic Inc. It is building eleMusic's own music generation model, so that eleMusic products run on technology we develop and understand.
- What music is the model trained on?
- Only audio we have the right to use for training: licensed material, public-domain works, permissively licensed recordings whose terms we have checked, music we create ourselves, and commissioned work. Every training file is recorded with its source and license.
- Does eleMusic Labs imitate artists?
- No. We do not use artist names or song titles in prompts or training descriptions, and we do not aim to reproduce any artist's voice or style.
- Can I try it?
- Not yet. The work is early-stage research. Updates will be posted on this site.
- How does eleMusic Labs relate to elemusic.fm?
- Both are part of eleMusic Inc. elemusic.fm is eleMusic's background music service for workplaces. eleMusic Labs is the research effort, run separately from that service.
